Educated by Nature offers nature-based programs for families and children that facilitate connection to self, nature and community. Our Principles of Learning within Nature are embedded in all our programs, which cater for children from 18 months through to 14 years of age.
As you'll see below, programs are split into three main groups, with Mud Pies programs for younger children and their parents, and KIN Village and Bush Inventors' Club being suitable for older children.
Our Mud Pies programs are designed for children aged 18 months to 4 years of age. As the wonderful Dr Trevor Parry often says, ‘Early IS early!’. Providing opportunities nature play, sensory risk taking and community for toddlers and their parents promotes healthy habits, resilience and a strong foundation for life.
Designed for older children, 7-14 years and 6-12 years respectively, KIN Village and Bush Inventors’ Club are ‘drop and leave’ programs. KIN Village is offered as a school holiday program, while Bush Inventors’ Club is an after-school program that runs in multiple locations, on a weekly basis, throughout the school term.
