Educated by Nature’s consultation service was born out of the mission to connect as many children as possible to nature and the outdoors. Matched with schools and childcare centres increasingly expressing their desire for students to explore connection to nature beyond an incursion or one-off experience, this service addresses the need in our community.

Since launching in 2014, Educated by Nature has facilitated an increasing number of incursions, professional learning workshops, school holiday programs and after-school clubs. The team of staff has expanded, bringing even greater breadth of knowledge and skill to programming and delivery of service.

Educated by Nature is recognised in the Perth community, and beyond, as leaders in the field of Nature Pedagogy, connection and mentoring.

In 2019, Educated by Nature were finalists in the Telstra Business Awards (WA Social Changemaker Category).

Since establishing, Educated by Nature has delivered programs to 20% of metropolitan primary schools in Western Australia, have been Creative Practitioners for FORM Creative Schools Program and were contracted by Nature Play WA as Education Consultants.

Educated by Nature are regularly sought to present at education and nature-focused conferences and to provide advice, mentoring and guidance to a range of organisations.
