Join us for a special Families Re:Build weekend! A hands-on adventure where children and adults work side by side to design, build, explore and play together.

Across the weekend, families can book into one of six 2-hour sessions, each offering access to tools, timber, rope, loose parts and recycled materials to create imaginative structures and collaborative projects. From cubbies and obstacle courses to swings, shops and entirely new inventions, this is a space where creativity and connection take the lead.

Inspired by adventure playgrounds and self-build play spaces, Families Re:Build is about much more than construction. It’s about creating opportunities for families to slow down, work together, problem-solve, take manageable risks and experience the joy of open-ended play.

Our facilitators will guide safe tool use, including power tools, and support families in bringing their ideas to life, while still allowing space for experimentation, curiosity and child-led creativity. The focus is not on building something perfect, it’s about the process of making, adapting, collaborating and discovering together and most importantly allowing some time to play!

Whether you are building a fort, creating a tiny village, testing ideas with tools for the first time or simply enjoying unstructured outdoor play together, Families Re:Build offers a rare chance to reconnect through shared adventure.
