40under40 winner !!!
I’m incredibly humbled and honoured to have been named one of the 40under40 for 2023 last Friday evening. A joyous moment for me as a business leader and entrepreneur, but more specifically a special moment to recognise the incredible journey that Educated by Nature has been on over the last 9 years.
I don’t work alone though and this award is also important recognition of the hardworking, passionate, deeply caring and committed individuals who make up the Educated by Nature family (those who are currently on the team and those alumni staff who have worked or volunteered with us since the very beginning). I accepted this award on all of their behalf, and I am so grateful every single day that I get to work with some of my dearest friends and a group of people who share a zest for life, a connection to nature and a passion for making real change in the lives of West Australian Children.
I would like to also congratulate all finalist and other winners for the inspirational work they are doing in WA.
Thanks to Business News for putting on an amazing event. Also a massive thank to all the judges that put their time into awards. This recognition has added fuel to the fire in my belly, the steam in my engine to continue to do this important work and continue to grow our reach and impact in our communities.
